BIBLE-BELIEVING STUDIES AND SERMONS

Every man who stands in the GLBC pulpit and every person who teaches a Sunday School class believes that the King James Bible is God's infallible, inerrant word. Absolutely no references are ever made to Hebrew or Greek in order to properly understand the English of the King James Version.

BUS MINISTRY

Each Sunday we pick up little children (and courageous adults) and bring them to Sunday School on the Gospel Light church bus! We have seen many young people saved and a number of adults come to Christ as well, through this great ministry!

SOUL-WINNING VISITATION PROGRAMS

Our organized programs meet Thursday night (church-wide soul- winning) at 7 p.m. and Saturday morning at 10 a.m. (bus visitation). All teachers are required to go soul-winning each week, and all members are encouraged to go soul-winning each week.

WORLD-WIDE MISSIONS

Our church supports missionaries all over the globe through the Faith Promise Giving plan. Each week we read letters from our missionaries in the midweek service.

CHRISTIAN DAY SCHOOL

Operated as a ministry of Gospel Light Baptist Church, Gospel Light Academy offers tuition-free Christian education K-12 to children of Gospel Light families. Students are not accepted from outside the church membership. The school has operated since the church was founded in 1986.

AUDIO TAPE MINISTRY

We have distributed thousands of sermons and Bible studies on audio cassette tapes to people all across the country. Sometimes we got free advertising for these tapes by people who dislike our ministry. For instance, the sermon, "The Biblical Way to Hate Queers," was promoted on the Internet by queers to the extent that we almost couldn't keep up with the orders for it.

COMPUTER INTERNET MINISTRY

Our church is the home church of THE FUNDAMENTAL FORUM, an application-only discussion forum on the Web. Through this ministry souls have been saved and Christians have been encouraged to be Bible-believing fundamentalists. Christians have traveled hundreds of miles to visit our services as a result of our Internet ministry. A marriage was saved in a neighboring state, believers have been directed to good churches in their new places of residence, and pastors has been called from across the country to assume the oversight of a church through this ministry.

NEWSPAPER MINISTRY

BIBLE INSTITUTE

The church provides an evening four-year, tuition-free Bible institute program
  • Gospel Light Bible Institute
    for ministers-in-training and others who want advanced Bible study.

    SACRED MUSIC

    Sticking almost 100% with tried and true hymns, Gospel Light Baptist Church avoids the use of rock (all varieties), rap, folk, bluegrass, country-western, and Southern Gospel music, even if the songs have good words. All instrumental music is presented by live musicians.
