Text: Psalm 11:3
Psalms 11:3 If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
Introduction: Our nation is in trouble. Our schools have become horror houses where kids are afraid to go to the bathroom. We have pumped millions of dollars into the educational system and yet, not only can Johnny STILL not read, he's dumber than he was 20 years ago! Many young people are committing suicide. One of out every two marriages are ending in divorce.
Americans have less economic security, less medical security, and less emotional security than we have had in my lifetime. I believe one of the main reasons is that the basic unit of our civilization, the family, is crumbling.
LET'S STABILIZE OUR HOMES!
Hebrews 13:4 Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.
Joshua 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
1 Corinthians 4:2 Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.
Let's teach our family members GOD'S way and then be stable about:
Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
