Scripture Reading: Matthew 28:18-20
Text: Matthew 28:18
Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Introduction: When I was a child, a popular television show was called, "Mission: Impossible." When we look at what we call The Great Commission, to go into all nations and teach them about the Lord Jesus Christ, it seems impossible. However, before Jesus sent out His disciples, He told them, "All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth." Then He said, "Go ye therefore and teach all nations ..." Jesus makes it possible, by His power, for us to do just that.
